We have tried Fusion art by merging Miniature and Lipan art together on canvas, two Indian Art Forms by keeping the original essence of their art.

STEP 1 : Source the base material

Take a round stretched canvas measuring 12” diameter in size.
Paint it with a base coat of Acrylic Colour Maroon 14. Let it dry.
We are going to make a miniature elephant along with Lipan art design on the background using Acrylic Colours and Mouldit.

STEP 2 : Draw and trace the design.

Take A3 white paper, draw an elephant design inspired from miniature art and squares on the background.
Trace the same design on the painted canvas with white carbon paper.

STEP 3 : Prepare the dough

Take Mouldit resin base and hardener, mix well to make an even dough.
Take the dough, roll it to make coils, make sure that each coil is even.
Stick the coils on the canvas to make the checkered design using Fevicryl Fabric Glue.
Take some clay to make tiny flowers using clay carving tools and paste them in alternate checks using Fevicryl Fabric Glue for sticking. Let it dry.

STEP 4 : Paint the design

Paint the elephant with Acrylic Colours Burnt Sienna 01, Black 02, Golden Yellow 09, Maroon 14, Orange 17, Ultramarine Blue 23, White 27, Leaf Green 62, Deep Brilliant Purple 64, Teal Blue 68, Neon Orange 017, Neon Pink 018, 3D Outliners Pearl Metallic Silver 351, Pearl Metallic Gold 352, Glass Colour Crystal Green and Tomato Red.
Let it dry.

STEP 5 : Embellish the design

Embellish the caparison on the elephant and the Lipan design using small sized ornamental stones and assorted mirrors and paste them using Fabric Glue. Let it dry.

STEP 6 : Final look

Your Miniature Elephant with Lipan art design will look like this!
