How eclectic is this pair of canvases! They transport us to the bygone era. Make them using Fevicryl Acrylic Colours.
STEP 1 : Make the design
- We are going to paint the canvas with the design of old stamps.
- We have taken two old stamps design one is with British King George VI and the second with the Maharaja of Jaipur on it.
- Take A3 white papers, draw the design of the old stamps with details on it in the size of the canvas.
STEP 2 : Source the base
- Take 2 canvas measuring 8” X 8” in size.
STEP 3 : Paint a wash on the canvas
- Paint the tea wash on the canvas to give away the old look by adding little amount of Acrylic Colour Burnt sienna 01.
- Let it dry completely.
STEP 4 : Transfer the design
- Trace the same design on the canvas with Black carbon paper.
- Refer to the image.
STEP 5 : Paint the design
- Paint the design with Acrylic Colours Black 02, Crimson 04, Maroon 14, Violet 25 and White 27.
- Leave it to dry completely.
- Your stamp design canvas will look like this.
