Make a pair of serene Buddha face on a bottle using Fevicryl Acrylic Colours and Mouldit, a beautiful piece of art for your showcase.

STEP 1 : Source the base material

Take a plain glass bottle. We are going to paint the face on the bottle and make hair of Buddha using Mouldit.  

STEP 2 : Paint the base coat & draw the face

Paint the base coat using Fevicryl Acrylic Colour White 27. Let it dry. Draw the face of Buddha on the bottle.

STEP 3 : Prepare the dough

Take Fevicryl Mouldit – Resin base & hardener, mix well to form an even soft dough.

STEP 4 : Build the hair curls of Buddha

Take the dough, make the button shape starting from the bigger to the smaller. Arrange and stick the button shapes in the place of the hair with Fabric Glue. Create the curl effect using clay carving tools. (We made a rose shape from the left over Mouldit to make the impressions.) Let it dry. (You can also make the hair effect using the pen cap).

STEP 5 : Paint the hair

Paint the hair of Buddha with Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Black 02. Let it dry.

STEP 6 : Paint the face details

Paint the hair with Pearl Metallic Gold 352 and Bronze 355 to get a metallic touch. Detail the face using Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Black 02, Chrome Yellow 03, Dark Brown 05, Golden Yellow 09, Lemon Yellow 11, Orange 17.

STEP 7 : Final look

Your Buddha bottles will look like this.
