Boxed Teachers’ Day Greetings
You Will Need:

A simple cute DIY that converts a matchstick box and the pieces of the fabric into beautiful box containers. This project will teach you how to use waste things that can be shaped into beautiful piece of art. An interesting DIY and one that is of utmost utility.
We are going to make the gift for the teacher on Teachers Day. Take 2 matchstick boxes.
Paint the boxes with the base coat of beige colour made by mixing Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Burnt Sienna 01 and White 27. Let it dry.
Write and paint the message “ Best teacher in the world” with Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Crimson 04, Golden Yellow 09, White 2 and Cerulean Blue 32. Let it dry.
Take the casement fabric, mark and cut 2 big rectangles to make the body of the dolls measuring 3” x 5” approximately and 2 rectangles to make faces measuring 2” x 4” in size. Paint the small heart patterns on the big rectangles and plain shades on small using Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Burnt Sienna 01, Black 02, Crimson 04, Golden Yellow 09, White 27 and Cerulean Blue 32. Let it dry.
Make the small pouches from the rectangles by securing the edges with needle and thread. Refer to the image.
Fill up the small pouches with cotton like this.
Attach the small and big pouch together with needle and thread to make the structure of fabric doll.
Take the colourful woolen strands to make the hair of the dolls. Paint the facial details with Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Crimson 04 and googly eyes using Fabric Glue. Let it dry.
Attach the jute string to the dolls as well as tie the hair of girl doll with blue wool. Refer to the image.
The final project is ready.
