You Will Need:

What to do with empty bottles? Here is yet another inspiration for you to check out! Taking inspiration from tribal patterns of Africa these two are simply too cool!

STEP 1 : Paint the base
  • We are going to paint the bottles with pattern design with Mouldit coil decorative handles using Mouldit and Acrylic Colours.
  • Take the plain glass bottles.
  • Paint the bottle with the base coat of Acrylic Colour White 27.
  • Let it dry.
STEP 2 : Draw and transfer the design
  • Take an A3 white paper draw the pattern design on it in the size of the periphery of the bottle.
  • Trace the same design on the painted surface of the bottle with yellow carbon paper.
  • Paint the design in grey and black colour using Acrylic Colours Black 02 and White 27.
  • Let it dry.
STEP 3 : Paint another one
  • Similarly paint the other bottle with Acrylic Colours Pink 18 and White 27.
  • Let it dry.
STEP 4 : Make the handles
  • We are going to make the decorative handles of the bottle with Mouldit.
  • Take the Mouldit resin base and hardener, mix it thoroughly to make even dough.
  • Take the dough, roll it to make the medium thick coil.
  • Shape the coil in spiral manner like the English letter “S”. Let it get semi dry.
  • Stick the spiral coil design on both the bottle swith Fabric glue.
  • Paint the coil according to the shade of the bottle with Acrylic Colours Black 02, Pink 18 and White 27. Let it dry.
  • Your bottle will look like this.
