This versatile project can transform a mundane bottle surface to a renewed look, altogether. A DIY to help you make a personal accessory for your dressing table.
Take plain glass bottle, we are going to make a hand mirror from it.
Take Fevicryl Mouldit – Resin base & hardener, mix well to form even soft dough.
Take the readymade silicon mould, apply talcum powder on the mould, fill up the design with clay and take out the design delicately from the mould.
Take the clay to make the coils. Build the design on the bottle with the ornamental mould and the coils using Fabric Glue. Let it dry.
Take a corrugated sheet, cut a circle of 5” diameter with the hand holder. Take the mirror and paste it on the corrugated cut out using Fabric Glue. Let it dry. Refer to the image.
Build a similar design around the mirror using silicon Mould design and Fabric Glue for sticking. Let it dry.
Your bottle with the mirror and clay work will look like this.
Paint the design on the bottle and around the mirror using Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Burnt Sienna 01, Black 02, Dark Brown 05, Turquoise Blue 22, White 27, Cerulean Blue 32, Pearl Metallic Copper 353 and Bronze 355. Let it dry.
Give the depth to the design on the bottle with Acrylic Colours Black 02 and Turquoise Blue 22. Your bottle with the mirror will look like this. You can even use this mirror as an actual hand mirror.
