We usually have the tendency of throwing away used bottles, here is a DIY which will help you learn how to upcycle your waste bottles in a unique home décor item.

STEP 1

Take 2 plain glass bottles from scrap.

STEP 2 : Prepare the dough

Take Fevicryl Mouldit – Resin base & hardener, mix well to make an even soft dough.   

STEP 3 : Prepare the dough & slab

Take the dough, roll it to make the medium thin slab with rolling pin. 

STEP 4 : Build the house on bottle

Take the slab, mark and cut the small rectangle pieces to make the roof, window shutters and doors of the house. Stick them all using Fabric Glue.

STEP 5 : Create texture & paint the base coat

Add white Silica Sand (Rangoli Powder) and Fabric Glue in Fevicryl Acrylic Colour White 27. Apply the coat on the bottle houses to depict the rough walls of the houses. 

STEP 6 : Paint the bottle houses

Paint the bottle houses aesthetically with flower creepers, hanging plants using Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Burnt Sienna 01, Black 02, Chrome Yellow 03, Crimson 04, Dark Green 06, Lemon Yellow 11, Light Green 12, Orange 17, Violet 25, White 27, Flesh Tint 30, Cerulean Blue 32, Fevicryl 3D Outliner Red 701, Yellow 703, Light Green 704, Orange 705 and White 707. Let it dry. 

STEP 7 : Final look

Your bottle houses are ready to flaunt around!
