You Will Need:
Fevicryl Acrylic Colour White 27, Fevicryl Modge Podge Gloss, Fine Art Brushes, Plastic Bottle, Paper Cutter, Scissors, Compass, Beads (White, Pink, Metallic Coloured), Thread, Colour Palette, Water Container.
Description :
Here is a cool way to reuse plastic! Make cool bookmarks out of them!
STEP 1 : Take a plastic bottle
• Take the flat plastic bottle. Mark and cut the flat surface from the bottle.
STEP 2 : Drawing the design
• Draw two fishes on the flat surface.
STEP 3 : Cut along the outline
• Cut along the outlines of the fishes from the bottle with the pair of the scissors.
STEP 4 : Painting the base
• Paint the fishes a base coat of Acrylic Colour White 27.
• Let it dry.
STEP 5 : Selecting the print
• Take the coloured print of the Vintage postal stamps. Mark and cut the fishes from the prints in the size of the base.
STEP 6 : Decoupage
• Stick the print on the cut out of the plastic fish neatly using Modge Podge Gloss. Remove the air pockets neatly while sticking.
STEP 7 : Finishing the tag
• Pierce an eye towards the top of the fish cutout with a compass.
• Attach the White, Pink and Metallic Coloured bead strands to the fishes to make the book marks.
• Apply two coats of Modge Podge Gloss on the fishes evenly.
