Personalize your books with a unique hand-painted doodle art cover made from plain cotton cloth. This project allows for creative expression, transforming an ordinary book into a custom piece of art.
Take plain cotton cloth. Measure and cut it to the appropriate size to serve as the cover for your book, allowing for sufficient overlap for gluing.
Using a pencil and tracing paper, draw your desired doodle design onto the tracing paper. Once complete, carefully trace this design onto the cotton cloth.
Take a fine art brush and Fevicryl Acrylic Colour Black 02. Begin painting the traced doodle design onto the cotton cloth, carefully filling in or outlining as per your design.
Continue painting until the entire design is fully completed and detailed. Allow the paint to dry thoroughly.
Once the paint is completely dry, position the decorated cover onto your book. Apply fabric glue firmly to the inside edges of the cloth cover and secure it onto the book's covers, ensuring a neat and tight fit.
Allow the fabric glue to dry completely. Your book now has a unique, hand-painted doodle art cover, showcasing its final look.
