DIY MDF Kite Coasters – Crafted with Mouldit for a unique kite shape and hand-painted in stunning blue pottery designs. A perfect blend of traditional art and modern utility.
STEP 1 : Procure the base
- we are going to make and paint the coaster in kite shape by replecating the Blue Pottery design on it.
- We will need the MDF coasters for the same.
STEP 2 : Prepare the clay and tail
- Take Mouldit resin and hardener, mix well to make even dough.
- Take the dough to make the slab and coil out of it to make the tail and spinr of the kite.
STEP 3 : Draw the design on kite
- Stick the tail and the spine on the MDF base appopriately using Fabric Glue.
- Let it dry.
- Draw the Blue Pottery floral design on the kite shaped coaster. Refer to the image.
STEP 4 : Paint the kite
- Paint the design with Acrylic Colours Black 02, Prussian Blue 19 and White 27.
- Leave it to dry.
STEP 5 : Finishing touches
- paint the Acrylic Colours Chrome Yellow 03 and Sap Green 21 for finishing touches.
- Leave it to dry completely
STEP 6 : Final look
- Your Blue Pottery kite coasters are ready.
