Here is an eclectic way to enhance the beauty of your walls, a mixed media wall plate. It has all panting, decoupage, pasting and loads of fun.
STEP 1 : Source the base
- We are going to paint the birds inspired from the botanical prints.
- Take a pre-washed terracotta plate.
STEP 2 : Paint the base coat
- Paint the terracotta with the base coat of Acrylic Colour White 27.
- Let it dry.
STEP 3 : Stick newspaper pieces
- Take the newspaper, stick the pieces of the newspaper randomly on the plate with Fabric Glue. Let it dry.
- Refer to the image.
- Paint the tea wash on the stuck newspaper evenly.
- Refer to the image.
STEP 4 : Paint the birds
- Draw and paint the birds inspired from the botanical print on the plate using Acrylic Colour Burnt sienna 01, Black 02, Chrome yellow 03, White 27 and Greenery 67.
- Let it dry.
