Gathering together timeless moments has been the inspiration for these frames – Timeless Diva Madhubala, the bicycle frame and the butterflies fluttering in the background of newspapers that have been stuck. These art pieces can create a retro atmosphere.
STEP 1
Bicycle:
Take the printout of the letters in the antique style
STEP 2
Take a 10” x 12” sized fine art stretched canvas.
Stick the printout on the canvas with Fabric Glue.
Leave it to dry.
Draw and paint the bicycle using Acrylic Colour - Black 02.
Let it dry.
STEP 3
Paint the canvas again with a coat of Acrylic Colour Pearl Metallic - Gold 352.
Leave it to dry.
Write the word “Bicycle” on the above corner using Acrylic Colour - Black 02.
Leave it to dry.
Butterflies:
STEP 4
Take a stretched canvas that measures 12” x 16” in size.
Cover the canvas by sticking the newspaper strips using Fabric Glue.
Leave it to dry.
STEP 5
Take an A3 sized white paper and draw few big and small sized butterflies.
Place an A3 sized OHP sheet on the drawing, paint the design of the butterflies using 3D Cone Outliner Non Sticky - Black 708.
Leave it to dry.
STEP 6
Paint the butterflies using Water Based - Glass Colours. You can use colour combinations of your choice to pain the butterflies.
Leave it to dry.
STEP 7
Cut along the outlines of the butterflies.
Take a small sized plastic bottle, cut the bottle vertically.
Take the cut bottle and the butterflies and Stick it on the canvas using Fabric Glue.
Refer to the image.
STEP 8
Make the bottle attractive by filling colourful wooden beads in it.
Your beautiful butterfly canvas is ready.
Timeless Diva Madhubala :
STEP 9
Take a stretched canvas that measures 16” x 20” in size.
Take newspaper sheets.
Cut the sheets of paper with your hands into 1” broad strips.
Stick the strips on the canvas using Fabric Glue.
Leave it to dry.
STEP 10
Take an A3 sized image reference of the actress Madhubala.
Trace the outline of her face on the canvas using black carbon paper.
STEP 11
Paint the background and the face of the actress in a water shading effect using Acrylic Colours - Burnt Sienna 01, Black 02, Crimson 04, Sap Green 21 and White 27.
Leave it to dry.
STEP 12
Take the some more of the newspaper sheets.
Cut 1” broad strips.
Stick the strips in a way so as to give the effect of a brick wall in the background of using Fabric Glue.
Leave it to dry.
Paint the gap between the brick wall using 3D Cone Outliner Non Sticky - Black 708.
