Benjarong Thai Mosaic Pot

You Will Need:

Fevicryl Acrylic Colour Crimson 04, Lemon Yellow 11, Light Green 12, Prussian Blue 19, Cerulean Blue 32, Fevicryl Acrylic Colour Pearl Metallic Gold 352, Fine Art Brushes, Terracotta Pot, A4 White Paper, Black Carbon paper, Pencil, Colour Palette, Water Container

Description :

Benjarong is a traditional Thai five basic colors style pottery, we have used the same style paint our pot using Fevicryl Acrylic Colours.

STEP 1 : Source the base material

Take a plain prewashed terracotta pot. We are going to paint the pot inspired from the Thai pottery design using Fevicryl Acrylic Colours

STEP 2

Paint the pot with the base coat of Acrylic Colour White 27. Let it dry.

STEP 3 : Draw the design

Take A4 white paper, draw the floral design inspired from the Benjarong Thai pottery on it in the size of the pot. Trace the same design on the pot with black carbon paper.

STEP 4 : Paint the design

Paint the design with Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Crimson 04, Lemon Yellow 11, Light Green 12, Prussian Blue 19 and Cerulean Blue 32 by leaving the white space in between the design. Let it dry.

STEP 5 : Final look

Paint the outline of the design as well as the rim of the pot with Fevicryl Acrylic Colour Pearl Metallic Gold 352. Leave it to dry completely.
