12 Days Of Ornament: 12 Lords A-Leaping
You Will Need:
Fevicryl Premium Fabric Glue, Fevicryl Glass Colours, Fevicryl 3D liners, OHP sheet, scissors, barbecue stick, clips, pencil, paper, ball chain [golden], zero size stone, beads, golden cut Dana, golden cord, 1 wooden button
Description :
Here is the first DIY of an amazing series of Christmas Ornaments; leaping lords' ornament that can be hung on the Christmas tree and has been made completely using Fevicryl Fabric Glue
STEP 1 : Make a sketch
- Draw a leaping Lord as seen in the image above measuring 12cm.
- Draw it on a tracing paper.
- Trace this image onto a OHP sheet.
STEP 2 : Outline and cutting along the outline
- Trace the design using a permanent marker
- Make two such designs
- Cut the design using scissors
STEP 3 : Paint with Glass Colours
- Outline the design using Fevicryl 3D outliners
- Let it dry
- Color the design using Fevicryl Glass Colors as seen in the Image above.
- Make sure to colour the opposite sides of the design and not the same side.
STEP 4 : Sticking of Embellishments
- Stick embellishments on the cutouts as seen in the image given.
- Use Fevicryl Fabric Glue to stick them.
- let it dry
- Use materials like tikli, cutdana, small stones to embellish the cutouts.
STEP 5 : Sticking the cutouts
- Stick barbeque stick pieces measuring 1.5” on the cutouts as seen in the image given.
- Secure them with OHP pieces as shown in the image
- Use Fevicryl Fabric Glue to stick them.
- Let it dry
- The embellished side faces outwards.
STEP 6 : The standing look.
- This is how the ornament will look from the front.
STEP 7 : Sticking the loop
- Cut a gold cord measuring about 10 cm and attach it to the ornament near the sticks in between.
- Use Fevicryl Fabric Glue to stick them.
- Let it dry
The Lords a-leaping ornament is ready to be hung on the Christmas tree!
