12 Days Of Ornament: 11 Ladies Dancing
You Will Need:
Fevicryl Premium Fabric Glue, Fevicryl 3D Outliner (white), Fevicryl Acrylic Colour Black and Red, Felt, Scissors, Clips, Pencil, Paper, Cotton, Barbeque sticks, Satin ribbon, Cutdana, Ball chain, Zero size stones, Glass beads, Sequin
Description :
Christmas is here and let us celebrate this festival with some cool decorations around us. Here is just the DIY for you, Ladies Dancing ornament, that can be hung on the Christmas tree and has been made completely using Fevicryl Fabric Glue.
STEP 1 : Make a sketch
- Draw a lady dancing as seen in the image above measuring 14cm.
- Draw it on a tracing paper.
STEP 2 : Cut the felt as per the sketch
- Trace this image onto various felt sheets and cut them using fabric scissors as seen in the image above.
- Use a bottle cleaner brush piece for hair
- Use a big wooden button for face.
STEP 3 : Stick the felt together to make a form
- Stick the felt pieces on to each other as seen in the image to create the character
- Stick the pipe cleaner and felt on to the button as shown in the image
- Use Fevciryl Fabric Glue to stick them together
- Let it dry
STEP 4 : Sticking embellishments on felt
- Stick cut dana, zero size stones, ball chain and sequin on the dancing lady as seen in the image to embellish the garment and head gear
- Use Fevicryl Fabric Glue to stick them together
- Use Fevicryl 3D Outliner to create texture of belt/ tying of the corset as seen in the image.
- Let it dry
STEP 5 : Assembly and Finishing
- Stick the button face on to the garment as seen and paint the eyes and mouth using Fevicryl Acrylic Colours.
- Take a piece of satin lace in the colour of your choice and stick it at the back of the dancing lady as seen.
- Use Fevicryl Fabric Glue to stick them together
- Let it dry
STEP 6
The dancing lady ornament is ready to be hung on the Christmas tree!
