Ganpati the harbinger of good fortune and prosperity is welcome in any household and how cool it will be to create an array of cute Ganpati’s with Mouldit and Fevicryl Colours! Here is the technique!

STEP 1 : Mixing Mouldit

We are going to make small Ganesh idols with empty Fevicryl Bottles using Mouldit to make the body parts of Ganesha.
Take Mouldit resin base and hardener; mix it thoroughly to make even dough.

STEP 2 : Take the base

Take the prewashed Fevicryl acrylic Colour Bottle.

STEP 3 : Start moulding the dough to make the miniature.

Take the dough, add Acrylic Colour Burnt Sienna 01 in it, mix it thoroughly to get the terracotta shade dough.
Take the dough to make the shape of Ganesha with head, hands, legs, the long ears and the trunk out of the dough with the help of clay carving tools.
Stick the body parts of Ganesha appropriately with Fabric Glue.
Let it dry.

STEP 4 : Make 5 such miniatures

Your Ganesha idol will look like this.
We are going to make different poses of Ganesha with these empty bottles.
Similarly make the other idols too. Let the idols dry completely.
We have made 5 such idols.

STEP 5 : Finishing and assembly

Paint the turban, the crown, the garments of the idol, the jewellery and the facial details of the idol with Acrylic Colours Burnt Sienna 01, Black 02, Crimson 04, Light Green 12, Maroon 14, Orange 17, Yellow Ochre 26, White 27, Sky Blue 63, Deep Brilliant Purple 64 and Pearl Metallic Bronze 355.
Let it dry completely.
Take the wooden plank measuring approximately 9” x 5” in size.
Paint the plank with off white shade with small border of red using Acrylic Colours Chrome Yellow 03, Crimson and white 27. Let it dry.
Stick the idols on the plank with Fabric Glue.
Leave it to dry completely.
