Take Fevicryl Mouldit – resin base & hardener, mix well to make an even soft dough.

Take some dough, and roll to make a coil. Use talcum powder for ease while coiling. Place an OHP sheet on a flat even surface and shape the coiled dough into a square (tile) with rounded corners on it. The OHP is required for support.

The base with POP and Fevicol MR

Make a smooth and consistent mixture of POP or white cement with Fevicol MR, in a plastic bowl. Pour this into the bordered coil. This will require time to set fully, allow it to harden and dry completely.

Pierce holes

While still semi dry, pierce two holes each on both the tiles using clay tools. This is for the woolen threads with beads to pass through later. 

Carefully remove the dried tiles from the OHP sheet. They will look like this.

Paint with a coat of Fevicryl Acrylic Colour – White 27. Let it dry (This is done so that the paints that would be put on this base later are even with a good finish).

Choose animated figures for both the tiles and paint them using Fevicryl Acrylic Colours - Burnt Sienna 01, Black 02, Chrome Yellow 03, Crimson 05, Light Green 12, White 27 & Cerulean Blue 32. In addition, add a funny / interesting phrase appropriate for the figures, something that you fancy and paint it also in a colourful manner. Let the tils dry.

String in a beaded woolen thread through the holes made on the top and secure well. Make woolen tassels and stick towards the lower part using Fabric Glue. Your quirky tile dangler is now ready. Customise these to gift to close friends, a much-appreciated gesture from your side!
