Here is the quirkiest of the projects for you! A kettle décor made with a PVC pipe joint, and yes Fevicryl products make it happen.

STEP 1 : Source the base
  • We are going to make the decorative kettle using PVC Pipe joint and Mouldit.
  • Take 2 PVC Pipe joints.
STEP 2 : Mix Mouldit
  • Take Mouldit resin base and hardener, mix it thoroughly to make even dough.
STEP 3 : Make the parts of the kettle
  • Take some dough to make the thick coil to make the handle of the kettle.
  • Take some clay to make the spout of the kettle using clay carving tools and Fabric Glue for sticking.
  • Stick the spout and the handle appropriately on the pipe joint using Fabric Glue and little amount of the clay.
  • Let it dry.
  • Refer to the image.
STEP 4 : Make the lid
  • Take the dough, roll it to make a medium thin slab with rolling pin.
  • Mark and cut the shape of the lid for the kettle with small knob holder on lid using Fabric Glue.
  • Similarly make the round base to cover the base of the pipe, stick the base to pipe using little amount of the clay and Fabric Glue.
  • Let it dry.
STEP 5 : The look
  • Your kettle with the lid will look like this.
STEP 6 : Paint the base
  • Paint the kettles and the lid with the base coat of Acrylic Colour White 27.
  • Let it dry.
STEP 7 : Paint the design
  • Draw and paint abstract floral and leaf design on the kettles and paint it with Acrylic Colours
  • Leave it to dry completely.
  • Your kettles with PVC joint are ready.
