Party Cap Decor
You Will Need:
Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Black 02, White 27, Fevicryl Acrylic Colour Pearl Metallic Gold 352, Fevicryl Mouldit, Fevicryl Fabric Glue, Fine Art Brushes, Thick Black Card Paper, Cobbler Thread, Pencil, Scissors, Paper Cutter, Clay Carving Tools, White Woolen Tassels, Ruler, Wooden Stick, Colour Palette, Water Container

STEP 1 : Source and prepare the base
- We are going to make the party cap décor for the new year eve using thick card paper.
- Take the thick card paper in black colour, mark and cuit the circle of 8” diameter.
- Cut the slit till the centre of the circle.
STEP 2 : Make the cone shape
- Overlap the opposite edges and secure the ends by sticking it with Fabric Glue to make the cone shape party cap.
- Let it dry.
- Refer to the image.
STEP 3 : Make 4 of them
- Similarly make 4 such caps further to write “2022” on it.
- Draw the zig- zag pattern along with the numbers “2022” on the party caps.
STEP 4 : Paint the patterns
- Paint the zig- zag pattern with Acrylic Colours White 27 and Pearl Metallic Gold 352 by leaving the numbers as it is with the base colour.
- Let it dry.
STEP 5 : Make the beads
- Take the Mouldit resin base and hardener, mix it thoroughly to make even dough.
- Take the dough and make few big and small beads using clay carving tools.
- Let it dry.
- Paint the beads with Acrylic Colour Black 02. Let it dry.
STEP 6 : Assembly
- Take the cobbler thread, pass the thread through the beads and the party caps.
- Attach the white woolen tassel towards the end. Attach the party caps to the wooden stick.
- Paint the “2022” numbers to welcome the New Year using Acrylic Colour White 27. Let it dry.
- Your party caps décor will look like this.
