Book Cover
You Will Need:
Fevicol MR, Half Imperial Sheet of Blue Coloured Card Paper (Or Any Colour Of Your Choice), White Pencil, Ruler, A4 Sized Orange And Yellow Coloured Felt Cloth, Scissors, Paper Cutter, Googly Eyes
Description :
A pretty book cover that can be with different colours and sizes depending on the book that you would like to cover. This concept can be used to make different shapes like we have made a mouse you can attempt making any other animal or your favourite cartoonic character.
STEP 1
Take a half imperial sheet of blue card paper to make the book cover / book jacket / dust jacket for your personal diary or book.
Draw a rectangle measuring 14” x 12” in size (as per the size of your diary).
Mark the lines for the front flap and the back flap along with the book spine in the size of the book / diary.
Refer to the image.
STEP 2
Make the folds on each line for a better finished look.
STEP 3
Cut and remove the outer squares which are attached to the flap.
Refer to the image.
STEP 4
Fold the two small squares which are on the top and towards the bottom side inside the flap and stick it with Fevicol MR.
Let it dry.
STEP 5
Take an A4 sized orange felt cloth.
Draw a mouse on it, cut along the outlines of the mouse.
Give horizontal slits on the back of the mouse as the holder of the pencil.
Take the yellow felt cloth and cut 2 small sized circles for the ears and 1 tiny circle for the nose of the mouse.
Stick the ears, nose and the googly eyes using Fabric Glue.
Let it dry.
Stick the felt mouse on the book cover with Fabric Glue.
