Glass Bangle Tea Light
You Will Need:
Fevicryl Premium Fabric Glue, Fevicryl Glass Colours (Pink, White, Tomato Red, Crystal Green, Golden Yellow), Fevicryl Acrylic Colours ( Dark Green, Leaf Green, Lemon Yellow), Fevicryl Mouldit, Plain White Bangles, 5” Diameter MDF Board, Brush, Round Shape Mirrors (Small And Big), Talcum Powder, Ohp Sheet (Thick), Pink Stones, Chandla (Silver), 2 Small Tea Lights, Scissors
Description :
Delicate glass bangle tea light placed in layers to create height and a unique shape that will add to your diwali décor. All made using Fevicryl Fabric Glue.
STEP 1 : Selection of base
- Take a round MDF coaster and using different shades of green (dark green, leaf green, lemon yellow) paint the base as seen in the image given.
- Use a brush to paint the base.
- Let it dry.
- Do the same with the second coaster.
STEP 2 : Mould it
- Take Fevicryl Mouldit and make simple and thin sleek coils as seen in the image.
- Stick glass mirrors of different sizes around the periphery of the coaster using Fevicryl Fabric Glue.
- Surround each glass mirror with the coiled clay.
- Stick them using Fevicryl Fabric Glue.
- Intertwine 2 coils to give a plaited look and stick it in the center using Fevicryl Fabric Glue.
- Leave enough space for the tealight to be placed while sticking the center coiled piece. Let it all dry.
- Place tiny clay balls near the mirrors as shown. Stick it using Fevicryl fabric glue.
- Finally, give the stuck clay pieces a wash of light green ( mix of white and leaf green) using brush
- Let it dry.
- Do the same with the second coaster.
STEP 3 : Sticking of bangles
- Take 10 single glass bangles and stick them using Fevicryl Fabric Glue, to make small holders as shown in the image.
- Each tea light stand will have 4 such holders.
- Make 8 such holders in total.
- Let them all dry.
STEP 4 : Glass colours
- Paint the bangle holders with glass colours alternating between pink and tomato red as seen in the image.
- You must in the end have 4 holders in pink and 4 holders in tomato red.
- Let it dry.
STEP 5 : OHP sheet
- Trace a circle on OHP sheet keeping the bangle as a guide.
- Cut 7 such circles per tea light stand.
- Use paper scissors to cut them.
STEP 6 : OHP sheet sticking
- Stick the cut out ohp sheet on to the bangles as shown in the image.
- The bottom most holder will have ohp stuck only on the top.
- The rest of the holders will have ohp stuck on both the sides.
- Stick them using fevicryl fabric glue.
- Let it dry.
STEP 7 : Embellishments
- Stick silver chandla and pink stones on the bangle holders as seen in the image.
- Use Fevicryl Fabric Glue to stick them.
- Let it dry.
STEP 8 : Colouring OHP sheet and stacking
- Take green glass colour and apply it on the ohp sheets as seen in the image.
- Let it dry.
- Once dried, stack the holders in the same manner u see them placed in the image.
- Stick them using Fevicryl Fabric Glue.
- Let them all dry.
- Make sure to stick them in a manner that they do not lose balance but is stable and stands without external help.
STEP 9 : Top view
- Place the holder in the base that was created for it.
- Do not stick it to the base as it needs to be removable when we place a light source inside.
- This is how it will look when viewed from the top.
STEP 10 : Placement on the base
- Place both the tea light holders in their respective base.
- Refer to the image given to follow how it must look when placed.
- Make sure to place a tea light in the middle before placing the top holder in its place.

A rather festive tealight holder is ready to be added to your Diwali décor. Isn’t that just so lovely!
