Description :

“Best out of Waste” is the mantra we have used here to make this unique Tealight holder from a plastic bottle. Upcycle things lying around in your house and decorate your living space differently this Diwali!

STEP 1 : Source the base material
  • Take any used cold drink bottle.
  • Mark and cut the base with a paper cutter.
  • We are going to make a tealight holder using plastic bottle as the base and Fevicryl Mouldit.
STEP 2 : Prepare the dough
  • Take Mouldit resin base and hardener, mix well to make even dough.
  • Take the dough, flatten it to cut broad strips of ½” from it.
  • Stick the broad strips on the bottle base neatly with Fabric Glue.
  • Take the clay carving tools to engrave the design on it. Let it dry.
STEP 3 : Paint the design
  • Paint the tealight holder using Fevicryl Acrylic Colour Black 02, Fevicryl Pearl Metallic Gold 352 and Ultramarine Blue Glass Colour. Let it dry.
STEP 4 : Final look
  • Place the tealight inside the holder and your beautiful, recycled holder is ready!
