You Will Need:

Fevicryl Acrylic Colours - Crimson 04, Burnt Sienna 01, Black 02, Golden Yellow 09, Maroon 14, White 27, Fevicol MR, Fine Art Brushes, Colour Palette, MDF Wooden Oval Placemat, Natural Clay, Craft Punch – Flower Shape . Pencil, Ruler, Water Container, A4 Sized Coloured Papers In Assorted Colours, A4 Sized White Paper, White Carbon Paper, Floral Shaped Sequins

Description :

This family name plate is a cute craft project for people of all ages. Make some family characters in clay and enhance it further using punched flowers, personalize it with the names of your family members. You can also do something similar for your friends and your loved ones as well.

STEP 1
Take a wooden oval placemat Give a base coat in maroon colour You may give two coats for an even finish Leave it to dry
STEP 2
Draw the names on the placemat in an arrangement of your choice You may first draw the names on an A4 sized white paper and trace it on the placemat using a carbon paper Colour the names in Acrylic Colour - Golden Yellow and outline it with a tint of yellow Leave it to dry
STEP 3
Take thin craft papers in the colours of your choice Punch some flowers – small and big using flower shaped craft punches
STEP 4
Take natural clay We have made 3 heads - father's, mother's and daughter's. The father's head is the biggest in size and is made from a ball of clay the size as that of a big lemon Leave the clay pebbles to dry completely (it may take a day or two to dry )
STEP 5
Colour the faces in shades of tan made by mixing Burnt Sienna, a tinge of Crimson and White Use Black to colour the hair and eyes and Crimson to make the smiles Leave it to dry
STEP 6
Arrange and stick the faces, punched flowers and the sequins in an arrangement of your choice or as seen in the image You may hang it on the wall by piercing a hole on top or make it stand on the table.
