Easter Egg Decor

You Will Need:
Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Burnt Sienna 01, Black 02, Light Green 12, White 27, Leaf Green 62, Fevicryl Mouldit, Fevicryl Fabric Glue, Fevicol MR, Fine Art Brushes, Two Balloons, Assorted Colourful Card Papers, Paper Thread, Scissors, News Paper, Clay Carving Tools, Colour Palette, Water Container

Easter ushers in such joy and why shouldn’t it reflect it our décor too? Here is a super cool idea and cute one too! Make this Easter DIY at home with Fevicryl range of products.
STEP 1 : Blow up two balloons
• We are going to make the Easter egg décor using the paper thread to make the Easter eggs and the rabbits with Mouldit.
• Take two balloons, blow it up approximately 6” to 7” in size.
STEP 2 : Wind the thread around the balloons
• Take the paper threads; we have taken two shade of paper thread to make the Easter eggs.
• Wind the paper thread around the blown-up balloons by leaving the front side.
• Use Fevicol MR for sticking as well as making the thread little hard and sturdy.
• Let it dry completely.
• Apply one more coat of Fevicol MR on the thread and leave it for drying.
STEP 3 : Burst the balloons
• Burst and remove the air from the balloons to get the structure of the balloons in the shape of the eggs.
STEP 4 : Make paper eggs
• Take newspaper, crumple the newpaper and paint it to make the land pastures which we are going to keep in the paper thread eggs using Acrylic Colour Light Green 12 and Leaf Green 62.
• Let it dry.
• Stick and place the pasture of land in the Easter paper thread eggs using Fevicryl Fabric Glue.
• Let it dry.
STEP 5 : Moulding the rabbits
• We are going to make the rabbits with Mouldit.
• Take Mouldit resin base and hardener, mix it thoroughly to make even dough.
STEP 6 : Make 4 rabbits
• Take the dough, shape it to make the rabbits in different poses.
• Let it dry completely.
• Refer to the image.
STEP 7 : Paint the rabbits
• Paint the rabbits in shading manner with Acrylic Colours Burnt Sienna 01, Black 02 and White 27.
• Let it dry.
STEP 8 : Assembly
• Attach and stick the land pastures in the paper thread eggs along with the rabbits and few colourful paper flowers on the pastures using Fabric Glue.
• Your Easter eggs are ready.
