I made this super creative pop up card for Valentine's Day. Once the card is opened, the love tree filled with pink hearts will pop up along with the message in the front and the fence behind!
How To Do it Yourself
First, I drew the shape of a tree ( without leaves ) on a thick brown paper and I cut it using a detailed knife. After that, I cut some little heart shapes out of pink paper and stuck them on the branches of the tree.
I stuck a piece of white paper behind the tree, and I folded it horizontally at the edge of the tree. I now folded the tree in half vertically and I cut the white paper as shown in the picture ( sticking the white paper is optional, you could instead fold the tree itself ).
On a piece of paper, I wrote the message with a red sketch pen. I similarly cut the message in the above manner.
I cut a fence shape on a white paper, and painted it in Fevicryl gold acrylic paint, and folded the bottom portion just like the above steps and cut it as shown.
I painted the inside of the cardstock paper in green fevicryl acrylic paint ( I used three coats of paint), and after it dried, I stuck these three pieces as shown in the picture ( in V-shape, with their centre lying on the crease). I stuck some fallen hearts around the tree.
For the top of the card, I stuck a red colored paper as shown. I kept the top of the card very simple so that we can add any message on it.
And that's it ! The contents inside the card pop up i.e stick out vertically once the card is opened ! Happy Crafting !
